The First Quizarre Quiz...

Well, well, so after weeks and weeks of being badgered, Snooty finally obliges. Or maybe it’s because he finally found some time out, being with no job for the time being. Be that as it may, here’s the quiz below. 10 questions, and each answer is connected to the previous one. Ergo, answer 1 is connected to answer 2, 2 to 3 and so on. Please note that the connects are not the answers, they just serve as hints. So break your heads over it, and send in your answers as a numbered list to quizarre@gmail.com. We will put up the names of the first three all-correct entries, so here’s your chance to see your name on our site, and tell your grandchildren the tale of how you finished the first Quizarre quiz (of course, by then we will be major famous and all that!!)

I can sense a whack awaiting me for rambling on, so here’s the quiz…

1. This symbol X is always used to make a footnote reference in a book. Another symbol Y is used if a second footnote is needed. Thus X may occur by itself on a page, but Y is never alone and always accompanying X. So these two chaps supposedly see X and Y, and have a brilliant (and now famous) idea. So what or who are X and Y?

2. Identify

3. Identify

4. Identify the movie whose poster is shown

5. What does this map show?

6. Identify the singer

7. Identify the man shown here...

8. What is happening or has happened here?

9. Identify

10. Identify

Well then, hope you enjoyed it. Do remember to mail the answers to quizarre[at]gmail[dot]com, we shall post the winners in a few days.
